Lagos State Government has revealed the apology letters signed by singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and former governorship candidate, Babatunde Gbadamosi, for violating government’s lockdown order.
Naira Marley was docked on Wednesday alongside Mr Gbadamosi and his wife, Folashade.
They were accused of flouting lockdown orders by President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos by attending a party organised by actress, Funke Akindele, and her husband, JJC Skillz.
The state government withdrew the charges on the condition that they would apologise to President Buhari and Mr Sanwo-Olu for flouting their orders.
The government, however, revealed the apology letters in a tweet on Friday.
Naira Marley will also shoot a video in collaboration with the state government to warn against the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The singer will make the video at his own cost.
