Musician Naira Marley has made a joke off Senator Elisha Abbo who was on Monday ordered by a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to pay N50 million as compensation to Osimibibra Warmate for assaulting her.
Naira Marley tweeted on Wednesday that he was still waiting for a party the lawmaker was allegedly planning.
“Senator Elisha Abbo I’m still waiting for the party we’re meant to be throwing. Can someone give him my booking contact nairamarleymanagement@yahoo.com,” he wrote.
The singer has been involved in a number of controversies since he gained popularity in 2019.
His single ‘Idi Oremi’ will be released on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Abbo was fined for assault after Warmate took the case to the High Court of the FCT.
The Adamawa-North lawmaker had been declared free from the assault charge by a magistrate court despite video evidence showing he assaulted a woman in 2019 at a sex toy shop in Abuja.
