Singer Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has become a topic of conversation among Netizens following the death of Mohbad.
A video has been shared multiple times on X (formerly Twitter) in which Mohbad stated that Marlian Music owned by Naira Marley should be held responsible if he dies.
“Because of this issue now you are trying to kill me. Everybody in the whole world please help me. If I die, na Marlian Music Naira Marley kill me,” he said.

Mohbad had issues with Naira Marley in 2022 over royalties and a change of management which led to the latter allegedly ordering his assault.
Mohbad eventually terminated his contract with Marlian Music officially on October 24, 2022.
Mohbad died on Tuesday but the cause of his death was not immediately confirmed.
He was 27 years old.
