Nigerians have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to criticise the handler of Napoli FC’s TikTok page for making a joke about Victor Osimhen’s missed penalty.
Osimhen, 24, missed the chance to put Napoli ahead from the penalty spot during the team’s goalless draw away at Bologna on Sunday.
The Nigerian then had a spat with coach Rudi Garcia on the touchlines after being substituted.
Osihmen later apologised to the coach in the dressing room.

However, the post on the club’s TikTok page has got tempers flaring, with many social media influencers and sports personalities criticising the club for the treatment of Osimhen who ended the club’s three-decade wait for the Scudetto last season.
