Former Kogi governorship candidate, Natasha Akpoti, has announced a N1 million giveaway on Facebook.
The 40-year-old announced this on Wednesday, saying it was part of her effort to support the public amid difficulties caused by the coronavirus-induced lockdown.
“I don’t know why #Natasha is trending on @Twitter but I’m giving away ₦ 1 million (10k each) to 100 people from tonight,” she wrote on Twitter.
Several politicians have been giving away cash to their social media followers since the lockdown in several parts of the country began.
Others have also donated hand sanitisers, food items among others to the public.
