Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February election in Kogi State Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has paid tributes to the late Ohinoyi of Ebiraland Ado Ibrahim.
The monarch died on Sunday morning in an Abuja hospital where he was receiving treatment for age-related ailment, according to palace sources.
He will be buried later in the day in Okene according to the Islamic rites.
Mrs Akpoti-Uduaghan shared photos of the king on Instagram, asking the heavens to be kind to him.
“Dear heavens, this soul, please be kind to him. Farewell great king,” she wrote.
Ohinoyi of Ebiraland Ado Ibrahim dies in Abuja
The paramount ruler of Ebiraland was the vice-chairman of Kogi State Traditional Council.
Before ascending the throne, he was a successful businesman in Lagos.
