Former Kogi governorship candidate, Natasha Akpoti, has hailed the tourism potentials in Yobe State amid coronavirus-induced lockdown.
Tweeting on Sunday, Akpoti urged the leadership of the state to harness the tourism potentials of Tulo Tulo village.
“Dubai has nothing on this. Tulo Tulo sand dunes Yobe State is everything touristic,” she wrote.
“Imagine a wellness resort right by the river banks. Only creatively competent leadership can harness its potentials.”
The tourist site is situated in the village of Tulo Tulo in Yusufari Local Government Area of Yobe State with dreamy palm trees and sand dunes.
Known as the ‘Desert Land of Hope’, Tulo Tulo village sits on the border between Nigeria and Niger.
