Politician Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has returned home to her husband Emmanuel Uduaghan after her involvement in an accident on April 14.
The lawyer, who still has a scar on her face, shared a photo of herself and husband on Instagram on Sunday, stating how it felt good to be alive.
“When there’s life, there’s hope. When there’s love, there’s home,” she wrote.
Akpoti-Uduaghan was the Kogi Central Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25 poll.
On the day of the accident, Mrs Akpoti-Uduaghan was taken into Federal Teaching Hospital Lokoja, Kogi State unconscious but was revived by the medics. It was gathered that she requested immediate transfer to Abuja when she regained consciousness.
She said in a statement on April 17 that her driver was saved by the airbag.
“To God be all glory, I survived another accident on Friday the 14th of April 2023 along Abuja-Lokoja highway,” she said.
“Many thanks to the diligent staff of FMC Lokoja who swiftly stabilised me and organised my transfer to another facility in Abuja.”
