The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) on Wednesday announced that 27 male players in the national basketball team have been invited to camp ahead of the Rio Olympics.
Those who made the preliminary list are a mixture of foreign-based and home-based players.
The team’s training camp will open in Los Angeles or Bakersfield in the United States of America, on June 27.
Nigeria’s male basketball team, also known as D’Tigers, qualified for the Rio Olympics after emerging champions at the 2015 Afrobasket tourney in Tunisia.
