The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday recorded 170 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country, bringing the total number of infections to 2,558.
Tweeting on Sunday night, the agency said that the 170 new cases were recorded from 12 states.
It said that 39 are in Lagos, 29 in Kano, 24 in Ogun, 18 in Bauchi, 15 in Kaduna, 12 each in the FCT and Sokoto, and eight in Katsina.
Others are seven in Borno, three in Nasarawa, two in Adamawa and one in Oyo.
Nigeria now has 2017 active cases of COVID-19, 400 treated and discharged and 87 deaths.
