The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 34 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The latest cases were from Lagos, Kano, Kastina, Delta and Niger States, as total number of infections in the country rises to 407.
The NCDC via Twitter on Wednesday night said that the 34 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded as follows: Lagos – 18, Kano – 12, Kastina – two, Delta and Niger – one each.
According to NCDC, as of 11:20 p.m. April 15, there are 407 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in 20 states in Nigeria, while 128 have been discharged and 12 deaths recorded.
Meanwhile, 16 more COVID-19 patients have been discharged from isolation centres in Lagos State.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu confirmed this on Twitter.
