Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi says he has completed his degree programme in business management at De Montfort University in the United Kingdom.
The 25-year-old told Football Daily that the knowledge he got from the study would help him in setting up businesses when he hangs his boots.
He said, “Yeah, I am done. I did like a 10-course class which can enrol me into a proper university degree.”
Ndidi, who plays for Leicester City, welcomed his first child, a baby girl, with wife Dinma in May 2020.
Recently, he said on a Twitter space hosted by FanBants that he considers former Super Eagles skipper Mikel Obi as his football idol.
“Mikel. Because of him, I was always fighting to get the No.12 jersey at the start of my career. I have massive respect for what he did for Chelsea and the Super Eagles. I always looked up to him a lot.
“When he was at Chelsea, I was at Nath Boys (as a youth player) and I have always liked him as a player. The way he plays is amazing. He was so important for Nigerian football,” he said.
