Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi has reunited with his childhood coach Nduka Ugbade who he says was pivotal in his career.
The Leicester City midfielder met with Ugbade who coaches the under-17 national football team also known as the Golden Eaglets.
Ndidi, 26, shared a video of his time with the boys and Ugbade on Instagram on Monday, expressing his excitement at catching up with them.
“Good to meet up with the under 17s national team and childhood coach. A very pivotal man in my football career. Always great to catch up,” he said, without disclosing the location.
Ndidi featured for The Foxes in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Brentford in the Premier League.
Ugbade, 53, also starred for Nigeria as a defender during his playing days. In August 2011, he was appointed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to be one of two assistant coaches for the Golden Eaglets.
