Nigeria’s Super Eagles will be without influential midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, in the crunch Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against South Africa.
This is as a result of accumulated cautions.
Ndidi picked up a third booking in the 3-2 victory against Libya in Sfax, Tuesday
The result pushed Nigeria to the summit of Group E with nine points from a possible 12.
Ndidi had featured in all games by the three-time African champions.
Coach Gernot Rohr will be hoping to have skipper Mikel Obi back in time as a replacement.
Next up for the Super Eagles is a potentially–explosive duel with Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a top-of-the-table clash at Johannesburg’s Soccer City on 17th November.
