Businessman and politician Ned Nwoko has publicly celebrated his wife, Regina Daniels, on her latest Nollywood achievement despite ongoing rumours of trouble in their marriage.
Regina made headlines last week after she removed “Nwoko” from her Instagram bio and deleted their pictures together, sparking speculation about a possible split.
Reports of Ned planning to take a seventh wife, alleged ties to actress Chika Ike and claims of favoritism toward his Moroccan wife, Laila Charani, have further fueled the drama.
However, on Sunday, Ned took to TikTok to congratulate Regina on winning Nollywood Personality of the Year at an AGN award ceremony.
Sharing a clip from the event, he expressed his admiration, writing:
“Regina Daniels wins Nollywood Personality of the Year! So proud of you, my love.”
Regina also acknowledged the award on Instagram, thanking The Sun for the recognition. She wrote:
“Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it in person due to unforeseen circumstances, but the award is well received and appreciated. Thanks again to the organizers and my ever-supportive fans.”
Regina and Ned married on May 26, 2019, in Delta State, when she was 19 and he was 59, a 38-year age gap.
They share two sons, both born on June 29, in 2020 and 2022.
Ned, known for his polygamous lifestyle, has several wives, with Regina being one of the most publicly recognised.
