Big Brother Naija reality star Rebecca Nngi has reacted to rumours about the confiscation of her Range Rover by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
Some media reports claimed the car was confiscated by the EFCC because it was part of the proceeds from illegal money made by a Ponzi scheme operator identified as Micheal who allegedly gave her the car.
Reacting to the report in a Twitter post on Thursday, September 1, Nengi claimed Twitter influencers were paid to drag her and spreading the rumour.
She wrote: “Wake up ooo.. I say make I remind una.. it’s a new day to drag NENGI .. you can’t be tired already .. where are all dem PAID Twitter influencers? NO POST TODAY??”
The social media influencer announced the purchase of the Range Rover in an Instagram post on July 20 last year.
On March 24, the Bayelsa indigene also reacted to rumour of an affair with Micheal who is married with children.
Controversial blogger GistLover had alleged that the reality star and actress Nancy Isime are being bankrolled by the same man. The blogger also claimed Nengi was a close friend to the man’s wife.
Reacting in an Instagram post, Nengi warned the blogger to stop talking about her.
She wrote: “Get my pretty name outta your mouth.”
Impressed by her approach to the saga, a fan Angel Cally commended her saying,” It how you ignore and till step out looking like a snack, this should be emulated.”
Another fan Queen Fassy wrote: “They can’t do without the queen of clout. They need to grow their new blog. Nengi buys watch na man. Nengi buys car na man, Nengi bys pant na man, Nengi buy house na man, they for kukuma say na man bought your fairness. All clout yet no tangible evidence till 600 years.”
