Rapper and songwriter, Adam Ephraim, known by his stage name as Equation, has announced that he would be releasing a new song ‘Cobami’ in the coming days.
At a round table press conference on Tuesday, the UK-born rapper said he began his music career at age 11 in Kent, UK where he rode above his peers, earning the title ‘BIK’ (Best in Kent).

The Cross River State indigene said the inspiration for his song ‘Faaji’, which was recently released, came in the studio.
“The idea Faaji came up in the studio. I and my producer laying down beats and melodies, it was just a vibe. We were just messing around it and it became a song,” he said.
The 17-year-old said he got his stage name from his mum who believed in his abilities.
The UK-based artiste described his brand of music as Afrobeats, saying he draws inspiration from Burna Boy, Teni, 2Baba, and Fireboy.

Equation added that he is currently working on a major collaboration with an A-List artiste on his forthcoming EP project.
