Brazil superstar, Neymar, is still in jubilant mood after he was pictured in a Rio shopping centre. But the 24-year-old wasn’t alone; he was spotted alongside ex-girlfriend, Bruna Marquezine, fuelling speculation of a possible reunion.
The Barcelona forward scored four goals and also converted the winning spot-kick as the South American giants edged Germany 5-4 on penalties to win their first gold in 64 years of the Olympics.
He immediately rushed to the Maracana stands to hug Bruna but it didn’t just end there for the pair.
Neymar and Bruna went on a dinner date to a steakhouse after watching their home nation win gold in the men’s volleyball tournament.
After leaving the restaurant neither one had any comment on their relationship and Neymar was soon mobbed by adoring fans begging for photos.
Speaking after the Olympic men’s football final, the Barcelona star, 24, hinted he still has strong feelings for actress Bruna, 21.
He said: “I gave a hug to a very special person to me.”
The duo ended their love affair in 2014 after it emerged that Bruna wanted to settle down and start having kids.
“I will continue working, but I will with my husband and be a mother of twins. My biggest dream is to be a mother,” she said to a Brazilian TV two years ago.
After the duo ended, Neymar was speculated to be involved with numerous ladies including Chloe Grace Moretz and Selena Gomez.
