The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has paid special tribute to the country’s women national football team, the Super Falcons, in commiseration of the International Women’s Day.
Nigeria’s apex soccer body joined the rest of the world on Wednesday in marking this special day meant to celebrate women across the globe.
The Amaju Pinnick-led group took to social media platform, Twitter, to show support to Florence Omagbemi’s team.

The Super Falcons are undoubtedly one of the world’s most dominant women sports team in history.
This is because Nigerian ladies have won the Africa Women’s Cup of Nation for a record eighth time – the most by any female team.
