Brown Ideye may be a forgotten man these days in the national team but that didn’t hinder the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) from remembering his birthday.
Ideye, who has been capped 28 times for the Super Eagles, clocked 30 on Wednesday.
For a moment, the NFF abandoned the crucial Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Libya to celebrate the striker.

Ideye’s career has somewhat stagnated in the last one year.
The ex-West Brom star’s move from Greece to China in 2017 apparently didn’t go as planned.
Ideye returned to mainstream Europe on loan at Malaga last term, but couldn’t save the club from relegation.
He is currently without a job at the moment.
The 30-year-old would need to find one soon in order to force his way into Gernot Rohr’s plans.
Nigeria faces Libya in an AFCON qualifier in Uyo on Saturday before travelling to Algeria three days later.
