Actress Ngozi Ezeonu has joined celebrities and fans in commiserating with actor Francis Duru over the death of his son Ifeanyi.
On Thursday, the actor shared a picture of his son on Instagram, announcing his death.
He captioned the post, “My champion!! My lion… You fought like a lion… If this is the way he wants it, so be it, I still judge you faithful. Ifeanyi my champ. I will miss you, son. I will forever love you. Rest in peace, son, rest. I give you thanks, Lord!”

Last December, Francis took to Instagram to mark Ifeanyi’s 15th birthday.
He wrote, “Guess who is 15 today! Like yesterday, today you are 15. Ify I thank you for you.
“For your deep spirituality and maturity. An amazing philosopher, thank you for your heart of gold and making parenting so easy. Your greatness is secured in the hands of God and may his angels be a constant in your life.
“Thank you for all you do son and my buddy. We all love you and you know. Happy birthday buddy.”
Francis married Adokiye in 2003. They have four children together.
