Actress Ngozi Nwosu has recounted how she battled with kidney disease while comforting her colleague Kemi Afolabi.
Kemi, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, said her doctor told her she has only five years to live after revealing she has lupus.
Reacting in an Instagram post, another actress Iyabo Ojo prayed for Kemi.
Speaking in the comment section of Iyabo’s post, Ngozi Nwosi recounted how she battled with her own illness and how people thought her healing was over.
She said: “May the almighty God who healed me when they thought it was over, heal you Kemi. May his mercy that never ends be with you now and always for what God can not do does not exist. Have faith, my dear.
In 2012, Ngozi was diagnosed with Kidney disease which affected her acting carer.
Photos of a frail-looking Ngozi appeared online which made fans suggest she was HIV positive. It was later confirmed that the actress had kidney disease.
She got N4.5 million from the Lagos State Government and was flown to the United Kingdom for treatment.
