Nick Gordon has sent an email to Bobby Brown pleading that he be allowed to attend Bobbi Kristina’s funeral Saturday, according to a report by TMZ
Tragic Bobbi’s boyfriend, Nick (25), was raised by Whitney Houston from a young age and many thought they were siblings.
Both announced their engagement in October 2012, eight months after Bobbi’s mother, Whitney, was found dead in a bathtub in Beverly Hills.
The pair were in an on and off relationship until Bobbi was discovered submerged in a bathtub at her home in Georgia on January 31 in a manner eerily similar to her mother’s.
She died aged 22 at the Peachtree Christian Hospice on July 26 after six months of induced coma.
Nick has been blacklisted by the family as the police continue their homicide investigation with him as major suspect.
In the email seen by TMZ, Nick says, “I loved Krissi with all my heart and I am destroyed that she is gone and I need to say goodbye.”
Nick, who included Bobbi’s aunt Pat Houston in his email because she’s arranging the funeral, goes on, “I’m begging you both to please put your differences aside and allow me this chance.”
And there’s a dash of guilt laced in the email … “Krissi loved me very much and she would want me there.”
Nick was persona non grata the entire time Bobbi Kristina was hospitalised, with most members of the Brown and Huston families blaming him for her death.
Bobby Brown suffered similar fate back in 2012 as he was blamed by Whitney’s family for her death and even left her funeral early after a disagreement over seating.
