Singer Davido has bragged about being the first Nigerian artiste to feature in the World Cup soundtrack.
In an Instagram post on Friday, the BET winner posted a video saying that Nigeria didn’t qualify for the World Cup, he did.
“Nigeria didn’t qualify,” his friend said in the video.
“But I did,” Davido replied.
The 29-year-old had earlier announced he was featured on the 2022 World Cup theme song ‘Better Together’.
“I’m honored to be featured on the Official @FIFAWorldCup 2022 Soundtrack! See y’all later 2NITE This one is for Africa! TULE!!!! WE RISE,” he wrote on Twitter.
The multiple award winner sang alongside Trinidad Cardona and Aisha.
