National male football team, Super Eagles, were unmoved at 67th position with 540 points. The 2013 African champions are 14th in Africa.
The Desert Warriors of Algeria remain Africa’s highest ranked team as they are on 33rd in the world, and are closely followed by 2015 AFCON champions, Cote d’Ivoire, who are 34th.
Nigeria’s opponents in their next pair of friendlies, Mali and Luxembourg, are ranked 65th and 146th in the world respectively
Lionel Messi’s Argentina occupy the number one spot in the world with 1532 points.
Belgium in second position with 1364 points, Chile are third with 1353 points, Colombia and Germany in fourth and fifth position respectively.
2010 FIFA World Cup champions, Spain are in sixth position with 1277 points.
