A Nigerian woman has been murdered in the United States for allegedly refusing a marriage proposal.
Police have arrested a 38-year-old Georgia man, Antonio Wilson, suspected to have killed Fabiola Thomas.

Mr Wilson was arrested on October 25 for the June 8 killing of the 39-year-old Nigerian.
Roswell police spokesman, Sean Thompson, told DailyMail.com that Thomas’ roommate discovered the body in the bathtub at the Atlanta Newtown Apartments and alerted police.
“The male caller was frantic and hysterical. He advised that his roommate was in his bathtub and that something bad had happened to her,” Mr Thompson said.
Thomas and Wilson were said to have met on the dating app, Plenty of Fish.
Thompson said the killing was in connection to Thomas rejecting the idea of them getting married.
Details of how Thomas was murdered were not revealed, however, police said her body had signs of trauma.

Thomas was reportedly seen walking in her apartment complex parking lot, approximately 30 minutes before her death.
Wilson, however, is due to make his first court appearance next week.
