Nigerians have criticised Governors Nasir El-Rufai and Kayode Fayemi of Kaduna and Ekiti States respectively for attending the World Economic Forum (WEF) which began in Cape Town, South Africa on Wednesday.
The Federal Government had announced that it was pulling out of the forum to register its displeasure at a series of deadly attacks on foreigners, especially Nigerians, in South African cities.
Chairman/founder of Zenith Bank Plc, Jim Ovia, had on Thursday announced his withdrawal from the forum.
Nigerians have, however, come hard on a presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, who singled out a former minister of education, Oby Ezekwesili, for attending the forum.
They have also criticised the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, for also attending the forum.
