Nigerians on Twitter have defended Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, who was described on Wednesday as a ‘bad actor’ by a writer known as Sugabelly.
The writer and illustrator, who has a verification badge on Twitter, said Pete was not a versatile actor.

“Pete Edochie is a really bad actor. He’s been playing the same role his entire life.
“Acting isn’t quoting proverbs. But Nigerians live and die by seniority so the older he gets, the less anybody is able to point this glaring elephant in the room out,” she wrote.
Nigerians on Twitter have stood in Pete Edochie’s defence, calling him a legend regardless.
