Nigerians have come to the defence of Falz over his ‘This is Nigeria’ video after the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) threatened to take legal action against him.
MURIC took offence that some girls were dressed in hijab dancing ‘shaku shaku’ in the video.
A statement released on Tuesday by MURIC’s director, Ishaq Akintola, described the video as thoughtless, insensitive and highly provocative.
The group gave Falz a seven-day ultimatum to remove the video from circulation.
Nigerians, however, took to Twitter to support the rapper.
Below are some of their tweets.
Any Group taking Falz to court is not only wasting money but also making him more popular.

Funniest part is threatening Falz with a lawsuit. Someone that does not need to pay for a lawyer

So MURIC is threatening Falz with “legal action”.
Falz, who himself, is a certified lawyer, has a Law jagaban as a father, and mother is also a lawyer…
