Nigerians are clamping down on a former minister of petroleum resources Diezani Alison-Madueke for her comments about Yahoo boys known locally as internet fraudsters.
Mrs Diezani who has been in the UK since 2015 had on Friday during a virtual event lamented the lack of societal values that have now made Yahoo boys role models in the Nigerian society.
But with the former minister wanted for fraud charges in Nigeria, Nigerians on Twitter have branded her ‘Hushmummy’ after the suspected internet fraudster Hushpuppi, saying she is in no position to speak against fraudsters.
