Nigerians are kicking against Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, potentially replacing Samuel Kalu in the Super Eagles squad for the African Cup of Nations.
Samuel Kalu had collapsed on Friday while trying to take a corner-kick in Nigeria’s final training session before their AFCON opener against Burundi on Saturday.
The 21-year-old was later stabilised in an Egyptian hospital and reports indicate that Kelechi Iheanacho may be drafted in to replace him if he is unable to take further part in the continental championship.
However Nigerians do not think the former Manchester City starlet should be called up.
