Nigerians thought they had seen the last of bizarre trophy tours after Enugu Rangers debacle of last season.
But instead, that seems to have become the new trend among Nigeria Professional Football (NPFL) champions.
Plateau United embarked on a trophy parade around the city of Jos, Thursday, on a similar ragged-looking truck as Rangers last year.
What was touted as a carnival around the metropolis became so embarrassing that fans had little choice but to give the club hard knocks.
