Nigerians have taken to social media to mourn gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu.
The ‘Ekwueme’ singer died on Friday after a brief illness.
Following the tragic loss, Nigerians stormed Twitter to grief as they appreciated her music.
It's painful to hear humanity has lost a rear gem but joyous to know heaven received one of her own for eternal rest. As humans, we're pained however, Almighty God knows best why it happened at this time. Rest in peace Osinachi Nwachukwu – "Ekwueme" Obi Cubana • National Grid pic.twitter.com/DE0OLRAMK0

I’m a yoruba lady, but this is the first Igbo song I had so much passion to learn and want to know word for word. This worship awakens my spirit everytime I listen to it even though I don’t understand the lyrics. Rip Osinachi Nwachukwu. https://t.co/f1BZL1EJkq
