Nigerians have begun sharing their thoughts on the Toyota Camry 2020 cars purchased for members of the House of Representatives in the face of the coronavirus spreading fast in the country.
According to Toyota’s website, the vehicles could cost as much as $25,000 to $35,000, excluding shipping cost and custom duties, which is about 100 per cent of the actual cost of each unit.
About 400 units of the cars were purchased.
Twitter users have condemned the action of the legislators, saying equipping hospitals should be the priority at this time.
