Nigerians react as Omoni Oboli’s Love In Every Word is removed from YouTube

Nigerians have taken to X to react after actress Omoni Oboli’s latest movie, Love In Every Word, was taken down from her YouTube channel following a copyright claim.

The romantic drama, released on March 7, 2025, had garnered over five million views within three days, making it Oboli’s most-watched film on her channel.

By the time it was removed, the movie had surpassed six million views.

Produced by Omoni Oboli and written by Mfon-Abasi Micheal Inyang, Love In Every Word stars BBNaija’s Bam Bam, Uzor Arukwe and other actors.

The film explores themes of love, emotional resilience and the power of communication in relationships.

Oboli had celebrated the movie’s success on X on March 10, thanking fans and cast members for making it a viral sensation.

However, the excitement was short-lived as, by March 11, attempts to access the film on YouTube resulted in a message stating it was “no longer available due to a copyright claim by Chinonso Obiora (Skyberry).”

The sudden removal has sparked mixed reactions from fans and industry watchers, with many expressing disappointment and seeking clarification.
