Nigerians do not seem too happy that Kenyans have dominated the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon for the second consecutive year.
Abraham Kiptum from the East African country Kiptum came first in the 42.1km race at the time of 2:15:23s to cart away the grand prize of $50,000.
His compatriots, Ronny Kiboss and Kiprotich Kiroi, came second and third finishing in 2:15:25s and 2:15:30s, winning $40,000 and $30,000 dollars respectively.
In the female category, another Kenyan, Tanui Rodah ran a time of 2:37:50s to emerge winner.
Her compatriots, Fridah Lodep and Alice Timbili, came second and third finishing in 2:38:21s and 2:39:02s respectively.
Here is what some Nigerians have to say about the Kenyan domination.
