All the people shouting about #NNPC being sold are thinking like poor people.

Has NNPC benefitted us as a country?

The sales of NITEL, fraudulent or not, opened market for our telecommunication industry.

Imagine the same thing happening to our oil sector, imagine how many refineries will be set up, think about the byproducts resulting to more factories.

We all scream PDP brought GSM, this is a silly statement. Ghana had GSM as far back as 1996, MTN had gotten to Cameroon in 2000.

What PDP did was to kill NITEL !!! A child that cannot crawl wont run. Now landlines have disappeared, phone booths have disappeared

No big deal in @atiku plan to sell or privatize NNPC . We saw greater growth in telecom after NITEL. Over the years, NNPC has not met with reasonable performance level of her purpose. If such idea can create better jobs and high productivity, so be it. Sell it.

I don't have problem with Atiku selling NNPC that's even if he win, which is just a dream. Selling it is not the problem but remember NITEL when it was sold, him and his Oga OBASANJO they failed to pay off salaries of the ex- workers only for Buhari to rescue them 12 years later.

Mtn, glo,Airtel took Nitel position. They still have a license that can not compete. That is why we must privatize NNPC so as to make it efficient and competitive as it is done world over. No point wasting money on an organization that is supposed to support others.
