Nigerians have recalled memories of the heroics of Dr Ameyo Adadevoh who helped curb a wider spread of the Ebola virus in 2014.
Adadevoh, who died on August 19, 2014, would have clocked 63 on Sunday.

She resisted pressure from the Liberian government to release diplomat, Patrick Sawyer, whom she quarantined after observing he was showing signs of an uncommon disease.
On August 4, 2014, it was confirmed that she had tested positive for Ebola virus disease and was being treated.
She died in the afternoon of August 19 and was survived by her husband Afolabi and son Bankole among other relatives.
Nigerians on Twitter have opened an online petition to request the Federal Government to give Ameyo Adadevoh a national posthumous honour.
