An innocuous tweet by Ghana based Nigerian singer, Mr Eazi, has infuriated many of his compatriots who are always ready for a fight over which of the two West African country is greater.
With the debate over the country with the best jollof still raging, the Starboy Worldwide act drew the ire of his fellow countrymen when he wrote on Wednesday night that Ghana’s influence over present day Nigerian sound cannot be overemphasised.
Ghana’s influence on present day “Naija Sound” cannot be over emphasized!!!

Some, however, agreed with him though.
Just seen the shit Mr Eazi said. And I don’t know if it’s true or not true. But I know one thing; Nigerians are not innovators.

But what mr eazi said is true,Most Nigerian artistes try to use Ghanian style nowadays
— kunle Onitiri ESQ (@hitmankunlecole) January 11, 2017
But most Nigerian songs used the Azonto & Aikada beat. So Eazi was a little bit right… Some Nigerian songs sound Ghanaian. Just some..
