Chairman of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Abia State chapter Felix Olunkwa has gone missing.

Over the weekend, Mr Olunkwa went to Aba to repair his sports utility vehicle (SUV) at the well-known Alaoji motor spare parts market, after failing to fix it in Umuahia, the state capital.

He was last seen leaving the area on the Ugwunagbo axis of Enugu-Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway.

The family raised alarm over his disappearance on Sunday.

Olunkwa’s wife said he departed from the spare parts market around 7 pm and that she spoke with him at about 8pm while he was still driving home along the expressway.

She said, “Later at about 10 pm, I called him back, but the effort proved abortive and since then, he has remained incommunicado.”

According to her, the car is an ash-coloured Toyota 4Runner Jeep (2000 model) with registration number HS 391 ABC.

She appealed to the police to rescue her husband fearing he might have been abducted.
