The family of actor Nkem Owoh has announced funeral plans for Kosisochukwu Nkem-Owoh.
Kosisochukwu died on June 28, 2023 aged 24 following a battle with liver cancer.
The burial arrangement for Kosisochukwu as announced by the family on Friday showed that she would be buried on August 24.
A flyer shared on social media read: “The family of Nkem Owoh (Osuofiasn) of Umunevo Owonta of Umungwu clan in Amagu village, Udi town, Udi local government, Enugu State regrets to announce the death of our daughter. The deceased will be buried on August 24.”
The family described her death as a painful exit.
Her body will leave the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) on August 24 for her father’s house (Osuofiasn’s compound) in Udi. Interment follows immediately after service, the family added.
Kosisochukwu is survived by father, mother, brother, sisters, aunts, uncles and numerous relations.
Nkem has not publicly spoken on the death of his child.

Condolences have been pouring in from fans of the actor who is fondly called Osuofia.
Media personality Soni Irabor mourned the deceased in an Instagram post.
He wrote, “May her lovely soul rest in peace. May God grant the Nkem Owoh family the fortitude to bear the loss.”
Some actors including Charles Inojie and Monalisa Chinda-Coker reacted to his post, expressing sadness over the incident.
Charles wrote, “O dear!” while Monalisa said, “Oh my goodness,” adding crying emojis for emphasis.
