Actress Nkiru Sylvanus and her husband Riches Sammy have celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
Nkiru’s husband posted photos from their traditional and church wedding ceremony on Instagram on Monday.
Riches Sammy described his wife as a hardworking and humble woman with a pure heart.
He wrote: “Happy wedding anniversary to us, @nkirusylvanus_real I give praise to God for blessing me with a wonderful woman, a hard-working woman, a woman with a pure heart, a humble woman, a woman that loves and puts God first before everything.
“A smart and intelligent woman. A home builder A woman that I’m proud to call my wife. I love you, Kpakpandum.”
The couple tied the knot traditionally at the bride’s hometown in Imo State on January 12, 2023. It was attended by friends and family of the couple.
Nkiru began her acting career at the age of 17, in 1999. She has been featured in over 50 Nollywood movies and has won several awards.

She won Best Actress of the Year at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) and Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
The Nigerian actress had a go in politics as she was included in the cabinet of former governor of Imo state Rochas Okorocha as his Special Assistant on Lagos State Affairs.
She went on to become his Special Adviser on Public Affairs in 2011.
