President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Joe Ajaero has honoured the invitation of the police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) for questioning over allegations of terrorism financing, cybercrime and other related offences.
Mr Ajaero arrived at the IRT office on Thursday morning at Old Abattoir by Guzape Junction, Abuja in the company of his lawyer Femi Falana.
Rights activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju also joined them.
The police earlier asked the NLC leader to come to their office on August 20.
But Ajaero wrote the police through his lawyer, Falana, explaining that he had fixed an engagement for that day before the police invitation was sent to him. He promised to be available at the police headquarters on August 29.
