Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) has congratulated the Amanyanabo and natural ruler of the ancient Grand Bonny Kingdom King Edward Pepple on his 59th birthday.

The king was born on June 11, 1965 into the Perekule royal family of King Eugene Pepple (who was the Amanyanabo of Bonny from 1957 till he died in 1972), and Queen Gladys Pepple.

Celebrating him, NLNG said in a social media post on Tuesday, “On this momentous occasion, Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) extends our heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty, King Edward Asimini William-Dappa Pepple III, CON, DSSRS, JP, Perekule XI, Amanyanabo and Natural Ruler of the Ancient Grand Bonny Kingdom, as you celebrate your birthday today.

“We are deeply grateful for your exemplary leadership and unwavering dedication to the people of Bonny Kingdom. Your vision has fostered a strong and prosperous alliance between the Kingdom and NLNG.

“Your inspiring leadership serves as a beacon, motivating us to work towards a brighter and more prosperous future, together. We wish you a blessed and joyous birthday, Your Majesty!”

King Pepple bagged a bachelor of science degree (B.Sc) in accounting from the then Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, and thereafter secured a job at the now defunct Allied Bank Plc.

Following the death of his uncle, King Opuada Pepple, he was forced to resign his job and ascend the throne of his fathers. He was enthroned and crowned on December 21, 1996.

He is married to Queen Paula Pepple. They have four children.
