No actor in Nigeria can buy Range Rover from acting alone – Bimbo Manuel

Actor Bimbo Manuel

Actor Bimbo Manuel has said no actor in the country can afford a Range Rover solely through acting.

Bimbo shared this perspective during a recent appearance on the TVC programme Your View.

According to the 66-year-old, many of his colleagues who showcase luxurious houses and high-end cars on social media are leading “fake” lives.

He remarked, “The actors you see flaunting Range Rovers and mansions in Ikoyi are living fake lives. No actor in Nigeria can say they bought a Range Rover purely from acting fees.”

He added that he prefers a modest and grounded lifestyle, saying, “I like a humble and realistic life.”

In October, actress Bimbo Akintola also spoke about financial disparities within the industry, suggesting that some actors turn to other means, including relationships with politicians to sustain their opulent lifestyles.

She noted that, unlike her colleagues, she doesn’t view herself as wealthy and often questions the source of her peers’ extravagant spending.
