The rumour mill was agog recently that Plantain Boy singer and self-styled Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa, Timaya, and his former protégé, Patoranking, were on war path.
Both men have however shut down the tales, labelling them as false.
Qed.ng recalls that Timaya had ‘discovered’ Patoranking on the streets, and he was the one who actually footed the bill of the latter’s Alubarika music video.
Shortly after, Patoranking defected to Foston Music, and those in the know maintained that Timaya wasn’t happy about it.
It now seems there is no longer bad blood between the duo, and they have moved on.
Patoranking was even featured on Timaya’s last album, Epiphany, and uploaded the picture above on his Instagram page.
