Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson and her husband Odi Okojie have like many others had to stay away from holidaying as they celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary.
Mercy, 35, wrote in an Instagram post on Thursday that although last year she and her husband visited Dubai to mark their eighth wedding anniversary, this year was different.
The coronavirus pandemic which has killed hundreds of thousands around the world has forced countries to tighten their borders.
“Last year we went to Dubai and I came back with Divine-Mercy. Relax guys, I no go holiday this time so no worries,” she wrote.
Mercy promised to love her husband forever, adding that her wedding anniversary comes a day before her birthday.
Mercy’s colleagues like Uche Elendu and Moyo Lawal have responded in the comment section of her Instagram post with congratulatory messages.
The actress and Prince Okojie got married in 2011 and have four children.
