Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi on Wednesday said he had not experienced any side effects after taking the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
“Took my first dose of the Astro Zeneca vaccine today as we flagged off vaccination in Ekiti State. I haven’t experienced any side effect. I encourage our people to take the vaccine,” he tweeted.
Ekiti State Deputy Governor Bisi Egbeyemi also got the jab.
The vaccines arrived in Ekiti on Tuesday.
