Nollywood actor David Osagie, better known as Sir David, has been buried in Igbanke, Delta State.
His colleague Ebele Okaro posted photos from the burial ceremony on Instagram on Friday.
Actress Ngozi Ezeonu was also seen in the photos.
“We showed up to pay our last respect to our colleague Sir David Osagie Osifo. May his soul rest in perfect peace Amen,” Ebele wrote.
Sir David died on Tuesday May 3, hours after filming on a movie set. He was aged 52.
His colleague, Ngozi Ezeh, announced the actor’s passing in an Instagram post on Wednesday morning.
She wrote: “Good morning fam, I hate to say this but we have lost another Nollywood king, Sir David. He wasn’t sick, it just happened. How do we explain this, another loss in Nollywood? Oh Lord have mercy. Rest in peace Sir Dave.
“I Mourn again oh I mourn ooh This life shall, it’s all but once. Nothing dey to fight or kill body for.”
