Actress Ebele Okaro has reacted to the death of her junior colleague Junior Pope and others who died in a boat accident.
Junior Pope was confirmed dead on Wednesday night after several attempts to resuscitate him failed. The actor alongside other crew members drowned in the River Niger area on their way back from the set of Another Side of Life, a movie produced by Adanma Luke.
Reacting to the tragic incident in an Instagram post on Friday, Ebele who often refers to Junior Pope as her son, said that Nollywood will never be the same without him and others.
Ebele said she is yet to comprehend if their death is a dream or reality and sleep has eluded her.
She wrote: “THE DIE IS CAST; THIS SAGA RUNS DEEP. I AM YET TO COMPREHEND IF IT’S A DREAM OR REALITY.
SLEEP HAS ELUDED ME, I AM LOST IN MISERY.
“EACH OF YOU; JP, PRECIOUS, OLA NTI, FRIDAY, AND ABIGAIL ARE ALL UNIQUE, LOVING, AND HARD WORKING IN YOUR OWN FIELDS.
“NOLLYWOOD CAN NEVER BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU ALL. YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.
“MAY THE GOOD LORD GRANT YOU ALL ETERNAL REST AND LET PEPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON YOU ALL. REST IN PEACE🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.”
